Where To Meet
The time and launch site vary depending the weather and tides. We send you a map link to the launch site with your confirmation.
YOU MUST KNOW
Washrooms

Most of our tours have no washrooms.
Children and Teenagers

We cannot accommodate children under the age of 4

Anyone under the age of 19 must be accompanied by a parent.

We usually take payment by email transfer, on the day before the tour.

If you can't do etranfer, then we will send a PayPal link that allows you to pay by credit card.
Weight and Height Limits

Our Delta 14 kayaks are suited to paddlers weighing up to 235lbs (105 kg), Tandems can take paddlers to 6' 4" (193 cm), 250lbs (115 kg)

Paddlers who 6' 4" (193 cm) and over may have difficulty fitting into our Deltas 14s. We can accommodate one tall paddler in John's Seaward Aurora (red boat pictured to the right or below)​
Medical Conditions and Swimming Ability

We cannot take anyone with any condition that could lead to unconsciousness if they over 90lbs (40kg).

We do not carry an EpiPen.

Everyone over 90lbs (40kg) must have some ability to swim.
Back-up Tour and Sailing​

​In most cases, we can do the tour that you requested.

When the weather is not safe for the requested tour, an alternative tour is offered. You can cancel anytime before payment is made.

Sails are taken on all tours. The wind is suitable for sailing on about half of the trips.​
Transportation

A vehicle is needed to get to most of our launch points.
Waivers

We will bring waivers for you to sign. They must be signed in-front of your guide prior to departure. (They can be viewed below.)
What to Bring

Shoes or sandals that can get wet and muddy

Waterproof jacket (recommended on most days)

Warm layer (even on a hot day)

Synthetic clothes are best. Avoid cotton.

Don't forget a hat, sunscreen and water.
